Eli·Kusa is my first western font design work. The font is under development. The preview version is expected to open on August 8th.
This font is full of childlike style font, starting from the ballpoint pen handwriting practice typeface.
Font style is more moderate, both text typesetting and title can be used.
This font has developed a variety of features that I hope will be useful to you.
Some of the letters in this font contain contextual alternatives.
Some characters are automatically transformed, while others require you to select from either the Glyphs panel or the Opentype panel.
Different figure style schemes are provided, and you can choose Tabular Lining or Proportional Oldstyle as needed.
We provide a rich assortment of Dingbats and Emoticons for the convenience of decorating your documents, which you can call in the Glyphs panel.
Type "###" in the typesetting tool to enter the Dingbats mode, and then type a number to invoke the Dingbats what you need.
There are other easter eggs in the font waiting for you to discover.
Matching Chinese and Japanese? Italic? More glyphs? More weight?
So there's a lot more that can be done with this font. But I will wait for your feedback before making a decision.
Font design is a very tiring job, I may also give up halfway.
